Forbes Bros. Construction, one of North America’s largest powerline construction contractors contracted Komplete to provide turnkey remote accommodations in central Newfoundland for 150 persons, a kitchen-diner, recreation-fitness center, and site offices for a major power transmission line.

The project is located in central Newfoundland.
By land, all equipment travelled from Edmonton, Alberta, to the Port of Sydney, Nova Scotia (5,025 km). By sea (700 km), all equipment travelled via cargo ship on the North Atlantic Ocean, where it was all ultimately offloaded in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Once unloaded in St. John’s, the equipment was shuttled 255 km east on highways to Bay d’Espoir, NL. (site of the camp).
Water & sewage storage, and power generation units were commissioned on site.
Ongoing maintenance support.
Assisted in engineering, permit application, and approval process.
Completed full commissioning of the facility, including; water, sewer, fuel oil, mechanical, and electrical site services.
